I AM ADOPTED - Ephesians 1:5
"God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure."

Adoption is a powerful act of love, choice, and belonging. It means being chosen, embraced, and given a new identity. When you surrendered your life to Christ, you weren’t just saved—you were adopted into the family of God. You became His child, with full access to His love, His inheritance, and His promises.
Ephesians 1:5 tells us, "He predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will." God delights in calling you His own! You are not an orphan in spirit. You are wanted, accepted, and fully His.
Too often, we live like we’re on the outside looking in, trying to earn God’s love or prove our worth. But adoption means we are already secure in Him. No matter what your earthly family looks like, you have a Heavenly Father who calls you His child.
Galatians 4:7 reminds us, "So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are His child, God has made you also an heir." You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned.
We are no longer slaves because Romans 8:15 encourages us with "The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by Him we cry, ‘Abba, Father.’"
You are chosen, loved, and adopted by the King of Kings.
Reflection Questions:
1️⃣ Do you truly see yourself as God’s child, or are you still trying to “earn” your place in His family?
2️⃣ How does knowing you are adopted by God change the way you see yourself?
3️⃣ What’s one way you can walk confidently in your identity as a daughter of the King?
Challenge:
Spend time in prayer today calling God "Abba, Father." Let yourself rest in the truth that you belong to Him.
