Life is full of storms—unexpected challenges, disappointments, and uncertainties. When the waves rise and the winds howl, it’s easy to feel shaken, lost, and unstable. But for those who are anchored in Christ, no storm can uproot them.
An anchor keeps a ship steady, preventing it from drifting away. In the same way, Jesus is the anchor for our souls—firm, secure, and unmovable. When everything around us shifts, He remains constant. His promises never fail. His presence never leaves. His love never wavers.
Psalm 62:6 reminds us, "Truly He is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will not be shaken." When we place our trust in Him, we find stability in a world full of uncertainty. No matter what comes our way, we can stand firm, knowing that we are held by the unshakable, unchanging power of God.
Jesus Himself said in Matthew 7:24-25, "Everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock."
Today, ask yourself: What is my life anchored to? If it’s anything other than Christ, it will shift, break, or fail.
But if your anchor is in Jesus, you will stand strong—no matter the storm.

2️⃣ How can you actively anchor yourself in Christ during difficult seasons?
3️⃣ What promises of God can you hold onto as your firm foundation?
Challenge:
Write down one promise from God’s Word that you can anchor yourself to this week. Whenever you feel overwhelmed, declare it out loud.
