I AM COMFORTED - 2 Corinthians 1: 3-4

"All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort others."

DEVOTIONAL

Life brings seasons of pain, loss, and uncertainty. In those moments, it’s easy to feel alone, wondering if anyone truly understands the depth of what you're going through. But God’s promise is clear—He is the God of all comfort, and He is near to the brokenhearted.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 reminds us, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." God doesn’t just give temporary relief—His comfort is deep, lasting, and personal.

When you are weary, He holds you. When your heart aches, He heals you. Psalm 34:18 assures us, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." You never have to walk through pain alone. God is not distant—He is with you, comforting you with His presence, His promises, and His unfailing love.

So today, rest in this truth: You are comforted by the One who knows you best and loves you most.
