I AM MERCIFUL - Matthew 5:7
"God blesses those who are merciful, for they will be shown mercy."

Mercy is a divine characteristic of God, and as His children, we are called to reflect His mercy to the world. To be merciful means to show compassion, extend forgiveness, and withhold judgment, even when it may seem undeserved.
God's mercy toward us is immeasurable. Lamentations 3:22-23 reminds us, “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His mercies never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” No matter how many times we fall short, His mercy is always there to restore us.
When we recognize how much mercy God has shown us, it transforms how we treat others. Instead of responding with anger, we respond with grace. Instead of holding grudges, we choose forgiveness. Being merciful does not mean ignoring justice, but it does mean leading with love—just as Christ did.
Today, let mercy be your response. As you have freely received it, freely give it.
