Gratitude isn’t just a reaction to good things happening in our lives—it’s a posture of the heart. True gratitude is rooted in faith, knowing that no matter what season we are in, God is working for our good.
Being grateful doesn’t mean ignoring hardships or pretending struggles don’t exist. It means choosing to see God’s presence, provision, and purpose in the midst of it all. When we give thanks in all circumstances, we acknowledge that He is sovereign, and we trust that His plans are greater than what we can see.
Jesus Himself demonstrated gratitude, even before performing miracles. Before feeding the five thousand, He gave thanks (John 6:11). Before raising Lazarus from the dead, He thanked God (John 11:41). Gratitude positions us to see the miraculous hand of God at work in our lives.
A grateful heart shifts our focus from what we lack to the abundance of blessings God has already provided. It turns anxiety into peace, doubt into trust, and complaining into praise.
When we practice gratitude daily, we align our hearts with God’s will and experience His joy in new ways.

Write down three things you’re grateful for every day this week. Speak them out loud in prayer, thanking God for His faithfulness. Watch how this practice transforms your mindset and strengthens your faith.
