I AM FEARLESS - 2 Timothy 1:7

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline."

DEVOTIONAL

Fear tries to paralyze, limit, and silence you. It whispers lies, telling you that you're not strong enough, equipped enough, or worthy enough. But God has declared a different reality over you—you are fearless in Him.

Being fearless doesn’t mean you won’t feel fear; it means fear doesn’t control you. David stood before Goliath, not because he had no fear, but because he had greater faith. He declared, “The battle is the Lord’s” (1 Samuel 17:47). His courage came from trusting in God, not in his own strength.

Jesus repeatedly told His disciples, “Do not be afraid.” He knew fear was a tactic of the enemy, but He also knew that faith in Him would overcome it. When Peter stepped out of the boat onto the water, his fear only overtook him when he took his eyes off Jesus (Matthew 14:30). The key to living fearless is to keep your focus on Christ.

You are not called to live in timidity or hesitation. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in you (Romans 8:11). Walk boldly in your purpose, knowing that God has given you power, love, and a sound mind.
