I AM DARING - 2 Timothy 1:7

"For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline."

DEVOTIONAL

To be daring means to step out in faith even when fear whispers for you to stay back. It means taking bold action, trusting that God is leading you, even when the path is uncertain.

Throughout Scripture, we see daring faith in action. David dared to face Goliath. Esther dared to stand before the king. Peter dared to step out of the boat. Each of them faced fear, but they moved forward because they knew God was with them.

Joshua 1:9 encourages us with "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."

2 Corinthians 3:12 reminds us, "Since we have such a hope, we are very bold." When your confidence is in Christ, you don’t have to shrink back. You can step into God’s calling, knowing that His strength goes before you.

Being daring isn’t about recklessness—it’s about obedience to God’s leading. It’s saying "yes" when He calls, even when you don’t have all the answers. It’s trusting that His power is greater than any obstacle before you.

Today, take a step of daring faith. Move boldly toward what God has placed on your heart, knowing that He is with you every step of the way.
