About

Sofia Diamond Designs was born from a deep-rooted belief that every woman in Christ is a warrior, clothed in strength, grace, and purpose. Inspired by the identity of a warrior princess in God’s Kingdom, Sofia Diamond Designs was created to reflect the divine power, beauty, and resilience found in each of us.

As a believer, there’s a battle you face every day, but with God’s armor and His Word, you are never alone. Our designs are more than just apparel—they are declarations of faith, courage, and biblical truth. Each piece is inspired by scripture, crafted to remind you of your God-given identity and your calling to stand firm in the face of life’s challenges.

At Sofia Diamond Designs, I embrace the duality of fierce strength and unshakable faith. Just as a diamond is formed under pressure, I believe that the trials of life refine us into God’s warriors, sparkling with His light. My designs are symbols of this journey—clothing that tells the story of triumph, hope, and relentless trust in the promises of God.

Whether you wear my hoodies, tees, accessories, or signature line, you are putting on more than just fashion; you are adorning yourself in purpose, courage, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Each scripture-infused design serves as a reminder to walk in faith, to stand tall as a warrior princess, and to live out your divine identity daily.

Join me on a mission to wear the Word, live with purpose, and shine with God’s glory.

I was born Deanna Jo York, in Pocatello, Idaho.  I go by Sofia Diamond online and with my closest friends. I didn't know that was my name until a few years ago.
My dad was in the Navy so we moved every year.  We always moved right before Christmas.  So I had 2 kindergartens, 2 first grades, 2 second grades, 2 third grades, and 2 fourth grades.  When I was in fourth grade my parents got divorced.  I hardly ever saw my dad after that.  This left me with feelings of unworthiness, abandonment and never being good enough.
When I was in sixth grade, my mom got remarried.  She married a man who was a Marine Veteran and fought in Vietnam.  He came home with 3 purple hearts.  He never forgot his time over there and he rarely spoke about it.  He became an alcoholic.  My teen years were filled with lots of arguing.  I spent them trying to be the peace maker.  I spent as much time away from home as possible.  But not in the typical way a teenager would with friends, drinking, smoking and partying.  I spent my time away from home at church, work and school functions.  These years again left me feeling abandoned and never being good enough.
I accepted Christ when I was 13.  I went to church four times a week.  The day I turned 16 I got my driver's license.  Shortly there after I got my first job.  I was on the drill team at school which also kept me very busy.
6 months after I graduated from high school I got married to my junior high school sweetheart.  We both joined the Air Force and traveled a lot in our spare time.  We lived in Europe for 6 years in England and Italy.  My son was born in Germany and my daughter was born in Italy.
Two months before our 27th wedding anniversary, me and my husband split up for the 2nd time.  There are many reasons why, I won't go into it right now.  It left me feeling once again abandoned, worthless, and unloved.
I became very depressed.  I started doing all kinds of things to self-sabatage myself because I didn't think anyone would love me again.  I started cutting and tried to un*live myself.  This sent me into a 3 year spiral of the darket period of my life.  I didn't think I was going to survive.  I was in so much pain.
One day God moved a thought from my head to my heart and my entire world changed!  He told me that I was a daughter of the King, that I had always been worthy. loved, and beautiful.  He told me that he had never abandoned me and that he never would.
My life changed drastically.  I started helping other women discover their true identity in Christ.  It was then that God gave me a new identity - Sofia Diamond.  This is my daughter of the King identity.  She is a fierce warrior for God's kingdom, but also a woman who knows who she is and who she belongs to.
This is the identity that created Sofia Diamond Designs.
